Hi,
I would not set cs=forced in a DWH. These a logrunning queries and the plans should be as good as possible. Parse time will normally be a lesser concern. Just to give an example: Bind varaibles for a partition key should inhibit from partion stats being used on parsing. Regards

 All,

I logged into a reasonably sized data warehouse system which I just inherited. Apart from several surprises, I also see cursor sharing set to Force. To me it looks very counter intuitive to set CS to force in a DW. I would think you would want the cursors to be parsed for almost all the executions. ver12 and uses star schema. Thoughts?
