Hi all,

we are planning to build new DWH from scratch. Source databases are mostly Oracle and new DWH databases will be Oracle too. Datamarts could be also MS SQL databases.
And we have dilemma in choosing ETL tool. We have two options Oracle ODI or MS SSIS (Cognos or Informatica is not the option). ODI is robust Oracle solution suitable for Oracle databases, but we don't have ODI people and licenses are not cheap. MS SSIS - we have enterprise licenses and some experiences with it, but is it suitable to use it in "oracle db" world? Also we have some PL/SQL people.
Another question is, if ODI is still (will be) in standard development from longer perspective?
I appreciate your experiences, insights, recommendations... Thanks.

Marian
