I would question why there is a data guard standby on UAT when your refreshing the primary db from production.    The very fact that you refresh from prod says that your standby is worthless. Not only is this causing more work than necessary it is also a waste of time and money to maintain the standby.  In this case I would recommend deleting the standby period.  It just isn't worth the effort.
