Hi All

this is the output of v$active_services in one of our databases.

*****DEV605.au1.ocm.s1592130.oraclecloudatcustomer.com
 CDB$ROOT

IBMSDEV_CFG CDB$ROOT
IBMSDEV.au1.ocm.s1592130.oraclecloudatcustomer.com CDB$ROOT
bkppdb1 IBMSPDB1
IBMSDEV_DGB CDB$ROOT
SYS$BACKGROUND CDB$ROOT
SYS$USERS CDB$ROOT

*****ibmspdb1.au1.ocm.s1592130.oraclecloudatcustomer.com
 CDB$ROOT
IBMSDEVXDB CDB$ROOT
bkpdev605 DEV605

The issue is that the pdb default services (with stars in front) are active in the cdb$root and if we use this service name in our tns connect string we end up in cdb$root.

This was working normally until we did a switchover test and somehow these services appeared and became active in cdb$root

Anyone seen this before
