Additional details:
- disk_asynch_io = true
- We are not using ASM for this environment. SAN Luns are coming from HP P9500 storage array
- We aren't currently using HUGEPAGES, I would like to configure them, but wanted to get this issue fixed before moving into that direction

A few more details:
- Current settings: filesystemio_options=asynch. -- We haven't tried "ALL", trying to understand how it will help with the swap issue?

Have you tried with FILESYSYSTEMIO_OPTIONS=ALL?
