Hi Jeff!

I used to use it. It was working on the first generation export files, not on the data pump ones. It was able to extract DDL from the DMP files and it was possible to re-create a schema or two with many fewer errors than without it. However, I haven't used legacy exp/imp tools in a while now and, as somebody else has mentioned, I too am using DBMS_METADATA right now. I am not particularly sad, I haven't used the tool at least in the last 5 years, maybe even longer than that.

Regards
