Root.sh Disk group creation failed

I am building an oracle 18.3 cluster in vmware workstation on oracle linux 7.5 in order to compose a blog. I have done this several times on multiple oracle versions, but I am getting an error out of root.sh on my latest build. Any thoughts on this? I was using the gui gridSetup.sh, and it didnt have any problems finding the disks.
