Mladen, I know you were just being humorous but

Just because you are sick, this does not mean you cannot work from home via VPN.

When on vacation you can answer your phone and more than once I have been told to take my computer with me.

In a small shop one or two DBA's is all you get and being on vacation may mean talking the System Administrator or a developer though DBA task.
