Swingbench is very highly regarded. There will be plenty of people on this list who have used it. The author is probably around on here too.
Also see SLOB, ditto on list experience and author.

I am looking for something to benchmark running an Oracle 12.1.0.2 database in a number of different environments. I found something online called Swingbench. I put it on the server to generate a baseline, but I can’t find any documentation on it. I tried to submit a comment on their website asking about documentation, but it just sat there with a circle going around and around.
So, assuming that this software is as bad as their website, does anyone know of any free, decent benchmarking program for Oracle?
