That will work unless the OP's experiencing the false blocking lock alerts on idle events like I had. For me, there was no acceptable threshold that would fully prevent false positives while alerting on true blocking locks, so I needed to disable blocking lock alerting in EM12 and roll my own alerts until I could get EM13r2 running.
