Changed the contents of sqlnet.ora per your suggestion. Still the same issue.

Stephan -

I tried mixed case , upper case , lowercase with and without quotes . Still the same.

SQL> administer key management set keystore open identified by oracle ; administer key management set keystore open identified by oracle *
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-28367: wallet does not exist

Thanks for your inputs. Still reviewing this . Will keep you updated .
