migrating windows database to linux

Looking MOS 1401921.1 - database migration across same endian. If I am reading this note correctly, for tablespaces belonging to SYSTEM and UNDO, you have to run an RMAN convert command. For all other data files, since we are using file system storage for both source and target, we can simply scp the files between systems. Is my understanding on this correct?
