Somebody misusing your email address? You are hinting at something you learned, but you are not naming it (=gossip) neither you are producing evidence (=unfounded). I was facing behavior like that for the first time when I was about six years old. Even then I knew kids speaking like that just want to make themselves look interesting. Thus, fortunately, Wittgenstein's quote is most relevant.
