From your description, it looks like this job did run acceptably in the past. If this is the case, why not grab one of the known good xplans and use it to create a baseline.
We stabilized most our EBS critical tasks using plan baselines. However, for some SQL, the baselines are becoming UNREPRODUCIBLE. Seeking MOS support, we are advised to apply 21463894.
