SAP HANA to Oracle

We are moving our SAP BW installation off Oracle to SAP HANA. Currently, to support a data warehouse that incorporates SAP as well as data from other sources, we are using PL/SQL to extract certain information from the SAP BW database that completely by-passed all the SAP connection layers/tools/etc.

Is anyone querying SAP HANA directly from Oracle? If so, how? If not, what methodology might be in use to transfer data into Oracle from HANA.
