Now those are the saddest words a DBA ever has to see: "we don't have any backups". L
The steps for recovering the OMS in this scenario are well documented under section 19.6.3.1 of that documentation you were looking at. Have you followed that at all?

More information...
I found the Oracle documentation:
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E24628_01/install.121/e24089/ha_backup_recover.htm#EMADV13363
I couldn't use this method because we don't have any backups.
I followed Martin's blog (Thanks!) Kellyn's suggestion: https://martincarstenbach.wordpress.com/2011/10/17/move-the-em12c-repository-database/
I ran the following command:
emctl config oms -store_repos_details ........
I am getting the message:
"No OMS is found to be associated with the current Oracle Home"
Question: After we built new server, the OMS install was completed with "Software only" install. No other configuration has been done. Is this the right approach or should I be installing with a "new repository database" and repoint to the old repository?
Thanks much

Hello everyone -
Environment:
OEL
OEM 12.1.0.4
DB 11.2.0.4
I have an OEM setup, where the OMS and the repository DB are running in different servers. OMS server crashed and had to be rebuilt. I am trying to install OMS on the new server and trying to hook it up with the existing repository database. I couldn't find any options in the installer or in the installation document.. I do not want to loose the existing monitoring configuration.. Could someone please point me to the document or the instructions to accomplish this..
Thank you so much
-Upendra
