And what is the result set ? The answer to life, the universe and everything = 42.

Just wondering if this predates arrival of any Pro* languages or PL/SQL. Oracle SQL, since v9 and certainly later has been enhanced greatly for conditional logic capabilities BUT still would not warrant compiling a "War and Peace" type tome of a statement.
