11g Dataguard and REMOTE_LOGIN_PASSWORDFILE

We use REMOTE_LOGIN_PASSWORDFILE= Exclusive -- on primary database and have created Datagaurd environment and copied the same file to it from primary ( created by orapwd)

Can we use any other method for physical standby setup ?
