Before you begin, do a

ls -lrt $ORACLE_HOME/jpub/demo/README.txt

The file will show no write permissions. The OVJM component of patch 21150851, i.e. patch 21068539 ,will try to overwrite that file, and fail, if it is present. The database component does not try to overwrite the file. The file may not be present. If it is, you can simply rename the original file to get around this problem.

It is time for us to move forward towards installing and implementing the Quarterly Patch Updates for Jul, 2015 on our Oracle Enterprise Manager (12c) and EXADATA (v. 11.2.0.3) instances.

Has anyone encountered any difficulties or hidden issues bringing these resources up to date?

Thanks,

Gus
