Hi Andrew,

I guess you are after a query from AWR. I normally use the queries and a set of excel-based macros bundled up in perfsheet4 as described in: http://externaltable.blogspot.com/2015/02/latest-updates-to-perfsheet4-tool-for.html BTW I would recommend looking at the latency details in dba_hist_event_histogram in AWR. Another point is that I would also quickly look at the log writer's log file to check for signs of adaptive log file sync kicking in.
