Sorry, you can ignore this issue. It seems the sysadm wasn't getting the full picture in /var/log/secure.

Subject: EM credentials in Job retry count

Folks, does anyone know how to control how many times an Enterprise Manager job retries it's credentials to a host target before giving up? I'm working with my sysadmin and he's seeing 3 consecutive denied connections for 1 execution of a job with bad credentials. What is happening is if somehow the creds. get screwed up and an existing job fires off, it immediately locks the account because the job apparently tries to connect 3 times in a row.

The configuration I'm investigating this on is: Destination host running RH 5.9, agent 12.1.0.4.
