The last time that I checked the product life cycle docs, July 2015 is stated as the end of support date for the 12.1.0.1 patchset. The first comp'd year of extended support for 11.2.0.4 ends in Jan 2016. Someone at Oracle needs to step up and state a plan and release schedule for non-EE editions.
