I have already read the report from William Tang before posting the mail to oracle-l and I was interested in practical experience with it.
Our first tests looks good, contention is reduced ...

yes, i fiddled about event 10089 in one specific application scenario (not in general). However as Jonathan said it should be the last option. Any
particular questions about it?
