Make sure you can see/query the GV$ views vs the V$...
In version 4.1, not in beta/Early Adopter - we actually show the queries in the Log Panel so you can see what we're doing for yourself.

What version of DB are you connecting to?
The specific functionality maybe version dependent

Ok, I have the newer sql dev 4.0.3.16 loaded.
I created a dba user for my dev environment and I can click on Tools -> Monitor Sessions and see everything.
I then created a dba user for my prod environment but when I click on Tools -> Monitor Sessions, I get:
ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
What did I forget to add?
