Synchronous read Linux vxfs

Hi,
I have problem to find information about usine Asynchronous io With vxfs on Linux ( no direct io) With oracle 11.3 With strace i found that dbwr use aio but a shadow process use pread (filesystem_optîon setall ). Same configuration With ext3 , dbwr and shadow process use Aio. Thank you
