Yes in 12c DNFS works on NFSv4. In fact, NFSv4 is required if you plan to use OISP (Oracle Intelligent Storage Protocol) to talk to their ZFSSA. Although I would not suggest using the ZFSSA to run live databases yet. Should be OK for FRA uses.
