Oracle 11.2
Linux Redhat 5 Enterprise.

I cant fathom for the life of me why rman on one particular database seems to put every file in one backup piece or set of slices yet all the others I have a maximum of 4 in in each slice.

Anyone got a hint on this please? its causing me a head-ache. I've checked the parameters but they seem ok.
