I am running 11.2.0.2 on RH 5 without any special settings/configs. Oracle seems to be pretty unhappy when an individual file gets over 32gb.

Subject: Max File Size?

Hello All,

In this age of arrays, SSD and virtual everything what are people using for a maximum data file size on their production systems?

Since the 2GB physical disk limit is no longer with us :)

TIA
Dave
