is there a way to let this certificate work as self signed skipping the chain control?

hi list i need your help.
I create a procedure to exchange data by xml but when i try to connect i get back this message:

ORA-29273: HTTP request failed 
ORA-06512: at "SYS.UTL_HTTP", line 1025 
ORA-28868: certificate chain check failed 

I imported the certificate of such website into the oracle wallet. UTL_HTTP.SET_WALLET was ok but it stops at UTL_HTTP.BEGIN_REQUEST.

is this a problem on my side or the website certificate have problem? thank you in advance
