RMAN backup Reporting

Can anyone please share the RMAN backup script which can be used all 9i/10g/11g environment. ? We have 1200+ database with various version and various catalog. I am running a report on daily basis to collect some Database for Database growth and load into external Database repository for analysis and reporting. So I want to capture the same for RMAN but found issue in getting generic script whcih can provide the minimum details like Start/End Time, Backup type and Status. I will then collect the data on daily bases for last 24 hr and load into external repository and create monitoring. TIA Sanjay
