generic question regarding oranfstab

Hi all,

This question is on behalf of our sys admin. He has a question that we are unable to answer it. Hope someone might know it.

Is it possible to remove entries such as these:

export: /vol/fin_stage_db01/fin_stage_db0 mount: /FINSTG1 from the oranfstab without having to restart the database? The database is up running, to add/remove entries from oranfstab, do we need to bounce the database? Thanks,
