Argh ! Mis-read your question - pray accept my apologies - you were seeking to determine "standard edition" vs "standard edition one"

As Nassyam pointed out - the install log will / should tell you...for example

  • Install method : Typical installation
  • Database edition : *Standard Edition* (Install database software only)
  • Install method : Typical installation
  • Database edition : *Standard Edition One* (Install database software only)

This doc might be more relevant... Differences Between Enterprise, Standard and Standard One Editions on Oracle 11.2 (Doc ID 1084132.1)
