Thanks for taking the time to suggest some pointers.

However, the case is allready closed.

Nassyam Basha suggested to take a look at the version of the observer software. This proofed to be a valuable suggestion. The databases are on 11.2.0.4
The observer software was on 11.2.0.1

After upgrading to 11.2.0.4 all problems dissapeared.
