Sorry backseatdba to hijack your thread. Hope you would be kind enough to let me post it. I have tried to do the same hostname change on agent 11g connect to 11g grid and the only way to achieve this was to reinstall the agent. Could someone please confirm that there is no alternative or am i overlooking an easy solution? Thanks in advance.
