A rather interesting bug appeared in the 'Oracle Support HOT Topics' today. Bug 16913821 : PLSQL BLOCK EXECUTION SIGNIFICANTLY SLOWER ON 11.2 THAN ON 10.2

A rather interesting bug appeared in the 'Oracle Support HOT Topics' today. Bug 16913821 : PLSQL BLOCK EXECUTION SIGNIFICANTLY SLOWER ON 11.2 THAN ON 10.2
Complete with test case.
If an app moves from 10.2 to 11.2 database, this is a another facet for consideration if the app appears slow in testing.
