Another great resource is Mastering Unix Shell Scripting: Bash, Bourne, and Korn Shell Scripting for Programmers, System Administrators, and UNIX Gurus, 2nd Edition by Randal K. Michael. There is a lot of Unix tuning scripts and Oracle example.
