Subject: job queue processes changing behind the scenes
10g R2
Linux
spfile only, I have deleted in init.ora file to avoid confusion
the database is open
show parameters job queue processes 2
alter database set job_queue_processes? scope=both;
shutdown abort
startup nomount
show parameter job
job_queue_processes=2
what could be changing the parameter behind the scenes on me. I suspect a bug.
