Dropped data base connection problem with the clients database

One of the client asked me 2nd time that they have a dropped connection in the DataStage Pre-production environment pointing at their QA database xyz - they gave us the times and the Oracle error code which are as follows:

Jan 15 10:30 am ORA 03135 Jan 16 3:27 pm ORA 12547 Jan 16 4:15 pm ORA 03135
The same client has got this type of problem - however, I was luckily able to resolve just by editing LDAP - in that LDAP configuration, one curly bracket was missing - however in this case LDAP and listeners parameters are in place.. Any suggestion - this is my first posting in forum ever - hope it goes through?
