Might be "Bug 14292825 - ORA-4031 in ASM as default memory parameters values for 11.2 ASM instances low" which basically states default allocation is incorrect, too low, and suggests 1024M.

I would definitely go with what support says. But their official doc says the out of box parameters are fine....
