plsql_code_type native

For those of you that have set plsql_code_type to native, I have a few questions:
- Why did you set the parameter

For those of you that have set plsql_code_type to native, I have a few questions:
- Why did you set the parameter
- Was there a noticeable change in performance
- Did you have any issues as a result of the change
