Any Timeout for Compilation of Invalid Objects

More specifically objects that depend on db_links, and if those db_links are bad, it seems to take forever for compilation process. Is there a trick/setting/event/parameter to say, if link is not accessible timeout in N seconds ? DB is 11.2.x enterprise edition.
