10gR2 10.2.0.4 64 bit EE on Linux.
DB was the Primary for a Data Guard Physical Standby, but not now. I've searched MOS and Googled a lot, but can't find any info. on this. Before I file an SR I thought I'd ask y'all.

I started getting hundreds of *lfs.trc files in the udump directory a few days ago after removing this DB from a Data Guard setup. They're empty except for the path and filename of the file itself. I've commented out all the init parameters that had to do with this being the Primary in a Data Guard setup and bounced the DB several times. No luck. I've looked at MOS docs and run lfsdiag.sql from 1064487.1. The DB's Log File Sync stats look OK. There is no mention anywhere of these *lfs.trc files and how to stop them. They've accumulated with PIDs up to 32K, then start over again at low PIDs. I keep deleting them, but they've cycled through 32K several times.

Any ideas?

Thanks.
