Automated RMAN Refresh

We have weekly database refreshes going on. I am looking to automate RMAN duplicate based refreshes with a script. We don't have the Provisioning pack license to perform this with Cloud Control. I am sure this is a common task at most sites with RMAN backups. I was wondering if anyone here is kind enough to share their automated RMAN backup scripts with me?

I found a nice starting point here but perl is not my strong suite to customize it for my use.
