So are you putting these metrics into context of amount work done (as your throughput gets worse over time) or just looking into per second numbers? E.g. divide these sesstat metrics by "user commits" or "execute count". The amount of LIOs you can do per second remains roughly the same over time (despite the varying cost of a LIO depending on how much data you access in the block) as long as your CPUs keep running at the same speed.
