Thanks for the information Adam. The reason we are staying away from Oracle solutions is because these databases (8) are running in standard edition. Would be expensive to upgrade to enterprise edition and add ASO..

If anyone have other products please suggest as well. Thanks again

My recollection from my eval of their product several years ago was that the overhead cost of full db encryption was on the order of 10%. It might be appropriate if looking for a cross-db-platform solution; otherwise, I'd look more to a storage-based (array-level) or implementation-specific (advanced security option, for example) solution.
