I would think we should see shmem allocs for all pagesizes in ipcs, no? I certainly see my li'l 4K pages there under AIX 5.3 and OEL 5.7.
In AIX, you can see the mem alloc by pagesize ("psz") in the second half of the output from "vmstat -p all".
