Good day, listers,
We have recently been delving into ZFS and the very nice snap features. We hit a snag last night when attempting to scp a database from one host using zfs to another host using vxfs. If we copy the database to vxfs on the source host first and then scp it, the database is fine. The problem seems to present itself consistently and is thus so far reproducible. I have not found any helpful documents via google or MOS so far (still trying). I did raise and SR (SR
3-5330625991<https://supporthtml.oracle.com/epmos/faces/SrDetail?_adf.ctrl-state=rhhd0pwyt_70&queryModeName=Technical&srNumber=3-5330625991&needSrDetailRefresh=true&_afrLoop=1051360964599000>: ora-600 on alter database open resetlogs), but I wanted to check with oracle-l as well.

Source and Target are similar in all ways with the exception that Target does not yet have zfs deployed (source host has both zfs and vxfs).

OS: Solaris 10
DBMS: 11.1.0.7.5 Create controlfile works fine (needed because mountpoints have different names).
Alter database open resetlogs fails with: ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [25025], [306], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], []

From the trace file:
Control file created with size 1028 blocks
