You don't mention which version of Oracle your source data is (I'm assuming Oracle due to the LONG type) but the COPY command is still available in 11g and is the best way of moving LONG's

I have a 17Gb table I would like to replicate to either oracle or sqlserver.

It contains a LONG data type columns which is incompatible with materialized views.

Sugestions?
