OEM can invoke a shell script in the OEM server.

Go to setup ==> notifications method ==> Add "OS Command" under scripts and SNMP traps. Enter your script with full path.

Then go to

Preference ==> Notification rule ==> select a rule and in "action" tab check the "notification method" you created now.

I could upgrade to a newer release if it works in those versions.

can the OEM send a page? Or a text message? can the OEM call a shell script? We have a shell script that will open a ticket for us and send a page.

anyway to configure OEM to use that?
