On my 11.2.0.1 11.5.10.2 ATG RUP 7 DB, I don't explicitly set db_cache_size but instead it's set by sga_target and sga_max_size components of ASMM (automatic shared memory management) - I'd highly recommend you use ASMM (and not AMM) and let the database do what it things it's best. Having said that, I do also specify a minimum java_pool_size.
